Franklin Wright staff and volunteers distributed boxes of fresh groceries and other essential items to hundreds of families this week thanks to partners Forgotten Harvest and Focus Hope. The team took precautions recognizing the government mandates for social distancing and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) like masks and gloves. Families were asked to drive up, pop the trunk, stay in the cars and to also wear protective gear while staff and volunteers placed the boxes of food in their cars.
"I am so proud of our team," said Monique Marks, president and CEO of Franklin Wright "They have not stopped doing the work in the community helping families and seniors get through this pandemic. We can't stop because there are too many in need." We need your support. We need your support to continue to offer help and hope as our country continues to combat COVID-19. Can we count on you?
