Franklin-Wright Settlements, Inc. has been a strong force in helping the community help itself for 142 years, and is a cornerstone of strength in supporting individuals, families and groups on the east side of Detroit and throughout the tri-county area.

Franklin Wright is rooted in a geographical neighborhood district.  Its goal is to know and understand the neighborhood and to help develop its potential by providing aid in obtaining the services people need.

Franklin Wright is concerned with the families and each of its members.  The organization aims to afford opportunities to each individual to find and develop his, or her potential for a satisfying life in the home, neighborhood, community and nation.  In doing so, it supports the conviction that human beings have a capacity for self-direction and growth.
