Franklin Wright Settlement is inviting the community to join them at Trunk or Treat: Fall Harvest Fest Celebration, a twist on the traditional Trick or Treat. Trunk or Treat will take place at Franklin Wright's east campus, 3360 Charlevoix Avenue, Detroit, MI 48207 on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Attendees will enjoy pumpkins, treats, cider, music and so much more.
Every year Franklin Wright hosts hundreds of neighborhood children at a massive fun and safe indoor Halloween party. However, given the current pandemic and with state mandates that limit indoor gatherings, this year CEO Monique Marks came up with the idea to host an outdoor event.
"Children have already missed so much because of the pandemic," said Marks. "I think its important to give them some sense of normalcy by maintaining this tradition in a safe, socially distanced manner."
