COA Accreditation

Franklin – Wright Settlements, Inc. is proud to announce the achievement of national reaccreditation through the Council on Accreditation (COA). COA accreditation is an objective, independent, and reliable validation of an agency’s performance. Across the United States, organizations pursue accreditation to demonstrate the implementation of best practice standards in the field of human services.

Every four years the COA accreditation process involves a detailed review and analysis of FWS’s programs, administrative functions and service delivery practices. All are measured against international standards of business proficiency. The standards driving accreditation ensure that services are well-coordinated, culturally competent, evidence-based, outcomes-oriented, and provided by a skilled and supported workforce.

COA is an independent organization, separate from the government, that ensures all of our programs and services are being delivered at the highest possible standards. Achieving accreditation was not easy; it took over a year to complete this challenging process. During that time, COA reviewed all aspects of our organization’s programs and services. COA accreditation can provide the confidence that our services continue to be among the best in the nation.
